Through 1 am, an outflow boundary will bring a northerly wind
shift and wind gusts up to 50 mph to the extreme southern Texas
Panhandle and portions of the South Plains and Rolling Plains. In
addition, scattered showers and thunderstorms may also develop
along and ahead of this boundary, with the stronger storms capable
of producing wind gusts up to 55 mph and brief downpours.
