This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Critical fire weather conditions are expected to develop this
afternoon. A Red Flag Warning is in effect from 11 AM this morning
until 9 PM this evening for the far southern Texas Panhandle, South
Plains, and portions of the Rolling Plains. Additionally, strong
southwest winds around 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are
expected near the Texas-New Mexico state line. A Wind Advisory is in
effect from 1 PM this afternoon until 8 PM this evening for these
locations.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Critical fire weather conditions are expected tomorrow for areas on
the Caprock. A Fire Weather Watch is in effect for the Far Southern
Texas Panhandle and the South Plains from 10 AM until 9 PM.

Thunderstorms are possible Friday afternoon and evening mainly along
and east of the Interstate 27 corridor. A few severe storms capable
of producing large hail and damaging wind gusts may develop off the
Caprock.

Additional thunderstorms are likely across most of the area Saturday
afternoon through Saturday night.

Thunderstorm chances will return to the entire region on Tuesday and
Wednesday.
