.DISCUSSION...
Breezy, southwesterly winds are expected area-wide today beneath
thickening overcast. Boundary-layer mixing will be shallow on the
Caprock while ascending to near 2-2.5-km in the Rolling Plains. High
temperatures will be similar to Saturday; however, minimum RH values
will remain above 40 percent on the Caprock and between 20-30
percent in the Rolling Plains. Chances for rain showers and storms
will gradually increase throughout the day, with better chances
heading into the overnight hours into Monday. RH will recover to
above 80 percent on the Caprock and above 60 percent in the Rolling
Plains. Fire weather concerns remain low.
