The Flood Advisory is cancelled for Lamb County.

Heavy rain has ended and flooding is no longer expected to pose an
immediate threat.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 1200 PM CDT Tuesday for
portions of northwest and the Panhandle of Texas...

...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM CDT EARLY THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Hale County.

* WHEN...Until 500 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 417 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated additional moderate to heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This additional rain will prolong minor
    flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.7 inches are expected
    over the area through 5 AM.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Plainview, Abernathy, Hale Center, Petersburg, Cotton Center,
    Halfway, Seth Ward and Edmonson.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive
on flooded roads.
