...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Briscoe County.

* WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1020 PM CDT, heavy rain was ending over the advisory area.
    Minor flooding is ongoing in the advisory area and will
    improve overnight as light to moderate rain ends. Around 1 to
    2 inches of rain has fallen over most of the advisory area,
    with a pocket of 3 to 4 inches located 3 miles southeast of
    Silverton.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will prolong minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Silverton, Caprock Canyon State Park and Mackenzie Reservoir.
