...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH FRIDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest Texas and the Panhandle of Texas,
  including the following counties, Briscoe, Childress, Cottle,
  Crosby, Dickens, Floyd, Garza, Hale, Hall, Kent, King, Lubbock,
  Lynn, Motley and Stonewall.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM Friday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Heavy rainfall from showers and thunderstorms that will move
    slowly from west to east across the watch area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
