.DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms will progress through the region from
northwest to southeast late this afternoon into this evening. A
few thunderstorms will be strong with isolated severe potential.
The primary concern with isolated severe thunderstorms will be
the potential for damaging winds to 60 mph and locally heavy rain.
Seasonably warm temperatures are favored to persist for the next
several days with additional chances for showers and thunderstorms
through the course of the week. The greatest potential arrives
late Wednesday night into Thursday morning and again Friday night
into early Saturday.
