.DISCUSSION...
After scattered showers and thunderstorms exit the area this morning
the region will be largely dry through Friday. Increasing moisture
along the southerly flow across the area will bring minimum RH values
into the 40s to 50s areawide Thursday and Friday.
A cold front will move through the area Friday, and showers and
thunderstorms will form along the front late Friday afternoon into
evening. Multiple rounds of rain, heavy at times, will move along and
near I-44 in Missouri and I-70 in Illinois, producing 3-5 inches of
rain by Monday. Where thunderstorms develop, higher rainfall amounts
are expected.
