.DISCUSSION...
Dry weather will persist through at least Friday and potentially
through Saturday over much of the area. Temperatures will largely
remain seasonable with exception to mid-90s over southeastern and
east-central Missouri and southwestern Illinois on Saturday.
Precipitation chances move in from the west Saturday into Sunday,
bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to the region. Chances
remain in the forecast heading into next week.
Deep mixing will result in elevated mixing heights and minimum
RH values generally between 40-50% through Friday. Despite better
mixing heights, weak flow will continue to result in sub-optimal
ventilation rates through the dry stretch of the forecast.
