.DISCUSSION...
Dry and warmer weather is expected across most of the area today. However
a few isolated showers are possible across parts of south central and
southwest Illinois into southeast Missouri. A cold front will move through
the area late tonight through Tuesday morning. This front will shift the
wind to the northwest and produce gusts between 25 to 30 mph. The front
will bring cooler and drier air to Missouri and Illinois for Tuesday
afternoon through Wednesday. The wind will turn back to the south late
Wednesday into Thursday which will warm temperatures back up for the
latter half of the week.
