.DISCUSSION...
A very dry, post frontal airmass has moved into the forecast area behind
today`s cold front. Northerly winds have been gusty as well, but will
diminish with sunset as daytime mixing is lost. A surface high will
move into the region tonight, causing winds to go light and variable.
By tomorrow the high will be shifting out of the forecast area and
winds will come from the southwest but remain less than 10 kts.
RH values will once again be in the 20s to 30s tomorrow thanks to the
dry air mass and temperatures in the mid 70s to upper 70s across
central Missouri. The lowest RH values will be across northeast
Missouri and west-central Illinois. 10-hour fuels will likely dry below
10% tomorrow, but light winds will keep elevated fire danger at bay.
The remainder of the forecast period will be dry with largely near to
above normal temperatures.
