.DISCUSSION...
Dry conditions and light northeasterly to easterly winds will
persist through evening with a temporary decrease in clouds.
Scattered to numerous showers are expected late tonight through
Sunday morning, mainly along/south of I-70 and west of the
Mississippi River. A brief period of dry conditions is
anticipated on Monday aside from a few late afternoon/evening
showers and thunderstorms in northeastern MO/west-central IL.
Temperatures on Monday will be well above average with seasonably
deep mixing heights and afternoon RH falling to between 40 and 55
percent. A more active period from late Monday night through
Thursday will feature rounds of showers and thunderstorms.
