Cold temperatures and light, variable winds can be expected
Monday, with highs only in the 30s expected. However, a rapid
warmup is expected Tuesday, perhaps by as much as 20 degrees,
with breezy southwest winds as well. In spite of these
southwesterlies and warm temperatures, humidity is likely to
remain high enough to mitigate the fire danger. A cold front will
switch winds to the west and cool temperatures slightly
Wednesday, and will be followed by a much more significant
cooldown Thursday through the weekend. By Saturday, a dry and
frigid airmass will be firmly in place. While some light snow is
possible Thursday, most of the week will be relatively dry.
