Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak 30.1 inch trough settles in from the north
and deepens by this evening as a 29.8 inch low organizes over
northern Wisconsin. The low then moves east and deepens further to
29.6 inches near Alpena Michigan Monday morning as 30.5 inch high
pressure moves into northern Manitoba. This high moves into
western Ontario Monday night and weakens to 30.3 inches and moves
across the upper Great Lakes on Tuesday. Ridging at 30.1 inches
remains over Lake Superior Thursday.
