Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A low will move through Lake Superior tonight at 29.3
inches, then move into Ontario Saturday. Behind the departing low, a
30.4 inch high pressure moves over northern Manitoba, extending a
30.1 inch ridge over the lake by Sunday morning. By early Monday,
this high strengthens to 30.6 inches over far-northern Ontario and
southern Hudson Bay, with the ridge over the lake building to 30.3
inches by Monday and remaining over Lake Superior into Tuesday.
