Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.7 inch low spinning through northwestern Hudson
Bay will pull a trough at 29.9 inches through Lake Superior
today. Lingering troughing tonight will organize and deepen into
a 29.6 inch low that is expected to track east into Quebec by Saturday
afternoon. Another 29.6 inch low exits the Northern Plains
Saturday and then pushes into Upper Michigan Sunday night at 29.7
inches. As this low spins into southern Ontario and Quebec
Monday, a 30.4 inch high is forecast to shift south across the
Plains. An associated high pressure ridge at 30.3 inches then
expands over Lake Superior Tuesday.
