Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.5 inch low pressure east of Lake Winnipeg this
morning skirts the northern shore of Lake Superior today. This low
is then followed by a deeper low at 29.3 inches tracking near the
lake Monday night. In the wake of the deeper low pressure, high
pressure builds up to 30.1 inches over the Upper Great Lakes late
Tuesday. 30.1 inch ridging remains in place over Lake Superior
Wednesday before low pressure ejecting out of the Plains leads to
pressure falls down to 29.7 inches over the lake by Thursday
night.
