Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior...CORRECTED

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

A 29.8 inch low lifting off of Lake Superior`s north shore this
morning is progressively being replaced by 30.3 inch high pressure
over the Northern Plains the rest of today through Monday. After
this high pressure ridging moves through late on Monday, another
Clipper low phases with a low from northern Canada that digs
southeast towards the lake on Tuesday. This phased low is expected
to bring 29.6 inch troughing to the lake Tuesday through Tuesday
night. Remnant troughing of 29.9 inches remains over Lake Superior
through Thursday prior to surface ridging of 30.2 inches moving in
again on Friday.
