Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.3 inch low pressure over northern Ontario will
weaken to 29.4 inches as it moves over James Bay this evening. At
the same time 30.2 inch high pressure will build over the Northern
and Central Plains. This high will evolve into a north-south
oriented 30.1 inch high pressure ridge that will drift to the
Middle and Upper Mississippi Valley Monday night and then to the
Great Lakes region Tuesday and Wednesday. High pressure builds to
30.2 inches over the Great Lakes on Thursday.
