Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.3 inch ridge is centered over the Lower Great
Lakes tonight. Late Saturday, a 29.8 inch low passes through the
Ohio Valley, extending weak a 30.1 inch trough over the lake. 30.4
inch ridging builds over the Upper Midwest on Sunday. A 30.9 inch
high builds into the Northern Plains Monday and Tuesday. This
high will maintain ridging over Lake Superior around 30.5 inches
through Tuesday night. A weak 30.1 inch trough then passes over
the lake Wednesday.
