...RED FLAG WARNING IS CANCELLED FOR PORTIONS OF THE MOUNTAINS
AND FOOTHILLS OF LOS ANGELES, VENTURA, SANTA BARBARA, AND SAN LUIS
OBISPO COUNTIES...

The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has cancelled
the Red Flag Warning. With the influx of additional monsoonal
moisture across the region, and gradual cooling the next couple of
days, the Red Flag Warning has been cancelled. However, the hot
and unstable conditions will bring widespread elevated fire
weather conditions away from the coast, with threat of large
plume dominated fires. In addition, the monsoonal thunderstorms
will bring the threat of isolated dry lightning strikes and gusty
outflow winds, adding to the fire weather concerns.
