There is a 60-70 percent chance of rain for the Southland between Saturday and Sunday. Due to the position of the storm, there is a low chance (10-20 percent) of thunderstorms between Saturday evening and Sunday evening. The most likely rainfall totals will range from a tenth to quarter inch north of Point Conception to a quarter to a half inch south of Point Conception. Local amounts up to 1 inch are possible along the south facing slopes of the San Gabriel mountains. $$
