DISCUSSION:

A cooling trend will develop through Friday as the first of a series
of cold storms move over the region. There is a slight chance of
rain and mountain snow between late Friday and Saturday as a cold,
compact, and moisture-starved system moves over the region. A second
system is expected Sunday and will bring additional light showers
with minimal impacts. High confidence in rain totals through Sunday
under 0.5 inches. A stronger rain event is possible between
Wednesday and Thursday.
