...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Northeast winds 25 to 40 mph with damaging gusts of 50 to
  70 mph possible, with the strongest winds expected to be focused
  in the foothills near the Highway 210 corridor,

* WHERE...Eastern San Fernando Valley and San Gabriel Valley, mainly
  foothill areas near the Highway 210 corridor, extending from
  Sunland to La Canada, then eastward from Altadena to
  Azusa/Glendora.

* WHEN...From late Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

...HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
TUESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...For the mountains and foothills, northeast winds 35 to 50
  mph with widespread damaging gusts of 60 to 80 mph likely.
  Isolated gusts 80 to 100 mph possible in most wind favored
  mountain locations, such as the San Gabriels, Santa Susanas,
  western Santa Monicas, and southern Ventura mountains adjacent to
  the Highway 126 corridor. For wind prone coasts and valleys,
  northeast to east winds 25 to 40 mph with potential for damaging
  gusts of 50 to 70 mph possible, with the strongest winds likely
  focused near Highway 118, 126, and 210 corridors.

* WHERE...Much of Ventura County and a portions of Los Angeles
  County.

* WHEN...From late Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.
