.DISCUSSION...Strong and gusty winds will affect the fire area
through most of this afternoon, with winds finally decreasing some
by late afternoon. THIS IS A PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION
(PDS) UNTIL 1600 HOURS.

North to northeast winds will gust up to 30 mph at eye level, with
gusts as strong as 80 mph over the ridges. Gusty winds will continue
tonight and Thursday morning, but will not be quite as strong, and
will shift slightly to a more northeasterly direction. Winds are
expected to decrease more significantly Thursday afternoon.

Humidities are expected to drop to around 10 percent or even into
the single digits today. Overnight humidity recoveries tonight are
expected to be poor, generally increasing to between 15 and 25 percent,
but there is a 30% chance they will recover to around 30 percent.
Very low humidities down to around 10 percent are likely again
Thursday.
