.DISCUSSION...
Very little change from the prevailing conditions through Tuesday,
except for a slightly stronger northeast wind push tonight and
Monday Night. Onshore winds will continue each afternoon, with
winds from the southwest more common on the west and north flanks
of the fire, and northwest winds more common on the south and east
flank of the fire. Typically deep mixing heights will continue to
pose the risk for vertical plume development and locally erratic
behaviors each afternoon. The marine layer should stay out of the
fire through at least Monday, and now looks poised to stay out
through the week. A sharp warming and drying period is still on
target for Wednesday through Friday, and could last into the
following week. Expecting taller plumes each afternoon during this
warm spell with mixing heights of 10,000 feet or more.
