.DISCUSSION...
A cooling trend will take place Tuesday and Wednesday as high
pressure aloft weakens and moves eastward ahead of an incoming
trough. The forecast has a slight chance of rain as early as
Wednesday afternoon, but recent model runs suggest that the rain
would approach the burn location Wednesday evening, with the heavier
rain occuring after midnight Wednesday/early Thursday morning into
the afternoon. Less confidence in winds on Wednesday and Wednesday
night, where the higher range of winds and gusts for 20-ft and
ridgetop could be 5 mph weaker than forecast. Low confidence on the
minimum humidity on Wednesday, which could be 10 percent less than
forecast, or 20 percent more than forecast, depending on when the
moisture from the storm moves in.
