UPDATED FORECAST TO REFLECT THE MORE ACTIVE NORTHEAST FLANK OF THE FIRE

.DISCUSSION...
Stronger winds are expected today compared to when the fire started,
especially as it spreads in the typically windier Carrizo Plain.
Similar hot and dry conditions are expected today compared to
yesterday. However, there is a 30 percent chance of minimum
humidities between 12 to 15 percent. Mixing heights will be high
enough to allow for plume dominated fire behavior, especially in the
afternoon to early evening hours. Similar conditions are expected
for Friday, though winds will trend weaker and a drying trend is
possible.
