.DISCUSSION...
Above normal temperatures will continue through Thursday with highs
between 82 and 92 common, then steady cooling through Monday when highs
between 74 and 84 will be common. Minimum humidities between 10 and 20
percent will be common over the interior areas with overnight recoveries
between 20 and 40 percent. Steady improvement to follow through Monday
when minimums between 15 and 30 percent will be common. The marine layer
will moderate coastal areas, deepening and expanding Friday through
Monday. Onshore gusts of 20 to 30 mph will be common over interior
areas each afternoon, strongest over the weekend. North wind gusts
of 20 to 40 mph will form over southern Santa Barbara County and I-5
Corridor each night starting Thursday or Friday, and lasting into next
week. No significant threats of Santa Ana Winds or storm systems through
at least Tuesday. A deep low pressure system will impact the entire
west coast for the middle to end of next week, with likely cooling and a
small chance of rain.
