...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 10 AM PST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of up to
  7 feet with dangerous rip currents. For the Coastal Flood
  Advisory, minor coastal flooding is possible.

* WHERE...Ventura County Beaches.

* WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, from 3 AM Tuesday to noon
  PST Thursday. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 3 AM to 10
  AM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of sea water is likely, around the time of
  high tide, over vulnerable low-lying coastal areas such as
  parking lots, beaches, and walkways. Significant damage to
  roads or structures is NOT expected. There is an increased
  risk for ocean drowning. Rip currents can pull swimmers and
  surfers out to sea. Large breaking waves can cause injury,
  wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats
  near shore.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Coastal flooding potential will be highest
  on Wednesday from 3 AM to 10 AM, but minor tidal overflows are
  possible from 3 AM to 10 AM Tuesday and Thursday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Do
NOT drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.

Remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions, or stay
near occupied lifeguard towers. Rock jetties can be deadly in
such conditions, stay off the rocks.

  currents.

* WHERE...San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara
  County Central Coast Beaches.

* WHEN...From 3 AM Tuesday to 3 AM PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Rip
  currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Large
  breaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches and
  rocks, and capsize small boats near shore.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Minor tidal overflows are possible from 4
  AM to 11 AM Tuesday and Wednesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents and breaking waves due to
  elevated surf expected.

* WHERE...Santa Barbara County Southwestern Coast, Santa Barbara
  County Southeastern Coast, Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County
  Beaches.

* WHEN...From late tonight through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...There is an increased risk of ocean drowning. Rip
  currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Waves can
  wash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats
  nearshore.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Minor tidal overflows are possible from 4
  AM to 12 PM each day through Saturday morning. Elevated surf
  will be highest Tuesday through Thursday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain out of the water due to hazardous swimming conditions, or
stay near occupied lifeguard towers. Rock jetties can be deadly
in such conditions, stay off the rocks.
