...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON PST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves will build to 8 to 19 feet with
  local sets to 15 feet tonight and Friday. High surf will
  continue into Saturday morning, then surf will slowly subside.
  There is a high risk of dangerous rip currents through
  Saturday.

* WHERE...San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara
  County Central Coast Beaches.

* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to noon PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Rip
  currents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Large
  breaking waves can cause injury, wash people off beaches and
  rocks, and capsize small boats near shore.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions, or stay
near occupied lifeguard towers. Rock jetties can be deadly in
such conditions, stay off the rocks.

  Saturday morning, then surf will slowly subside. There is a high

* WHERE...Ventura County Beaches.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to noon PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...There is an increased risk for ocean drowning. Rip
