...Accumulating Snow to Result in Slippery Travel Today...

Accumulating snow will continue to spread across northeast
Illinois and northwest Indiana through early evening. Snowfall
totals in the 1 to 3 inch range can be expected, especially for
areas along and southeast of I-55, which could result in slippery
travel conditions.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling today by
slowing down and leaving extra space between vehicles.
