...Accumulating snow resulting in slippery travel conditions this
morning...

Snow continues to expand in coverage across the area this morning,
with the steadiest snow expected along and north of the Illinois
and Kankakee River Valleys, including the Chicago metro. While
rates will be light, snow will readily accumulate on roadways
leading to slick and hazardous travel conditions with reduced
visibilities down to 1 mile at times.
