At Chicago, the average high temperature was 84.1 degrees, which is 3.7 degrees above normal. The average low temperature was 64.4 degrees, which is 3.6 degrees above normal. The mean average temperature for the month was 74.2 degrees, which is 3.6 degrees above normal. 3.63 inches of liquid precipitation were recorded, which is 0.47 inches below normal. The following daily records were set for Chicago this past June: * Record daily liquid precipitation of 1.86 inches on the 18th. * Record daily warmest low temperature of 78 degrees on the 21st. * Record daily warmest low temperature of 80 degrees on the 22nd. * Tied record daily warmest low temperature of 79 degrees on the 23rd. * Tied record daily warmest low temperature of 77 degrees on the 26th. The following top ten monthly records were set for Chicago this past June: **Tied for 6th warmest June on record with an average temperature of 74.2 degrees.
