Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated Snow Risk this morning, mainly along and north of I-80.
  Limited Ice Accumulation Risk this morning south of I-80.

DISCUSSION...

Accumulating snow will lead to hazardous travel conditions this
morning, especially in areas along and north of I-80. Patchy
freezing rain/drizzle may also be observed in some locations
south of I-80 this morning leading to localized slick spots.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Wednesday through Friday...
  Limited Snow Risk.
Friday and Saturday...
  Elevated Excessive Cold Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Periodic snow chances continue through the end of the work week
followed by bitterly cold conditions late Friday into Saturday.
