Pockets of lake-effect snow are expected to develop this evening and fall on portions of northern and northwest Indiana through much of tonight. Minor accumulations up to around an inch will be possible, primarily across northern portions of Porter County and points east. Some light snow may linger into early Tuesday morning, but Tuesday will be largely rain and snow-free. Cloudy skies will become partly cloudy during the morning on Tuesday. Expect westerly to southwesterly winds at 10 to 15 mph. Winds will increase during the night and into Wednesday with 25 to 30 mph gusts forecast during the day. Gusty rain and snow showers are then possible along a cold front late Wednesday afternoon into the evening with winds increasing to near 40 mph out of the northwest. .TUESDAY...
