For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.4 inch high will drift off the New England coast
today. A weak 30.0 inch low will then move southeast across the
Great Lakes tonight through Saturday before weakening to a remnant
trough Saturday night across Western NY. Another 30.4 inch high will
then build from Quebec Saturday night to the Canadian Maritimes
Sunday, where it will remain in place through Tuesday. Meanwhile, a
29.5 inch low will drift from just offshore of the Carolinas Sunday
to off the Jersey shore by Monday night.
