For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.6 inch low over the western Great Lakes this
evening will track toward the central Great Lakes Wednesday, then
track into eastern Ontario through Wednesday night while deepening
to 29.4 inches. A cold front from this low will rush across the lake
Wednesday afternoon. The 29.4 inch surface low will then track well
north of the lake Thursday and Friday, as a 30.4 inch surface high
builds into the mid Mississippi Valley Friday and to the Ohio Valley
Saturday. Another surface low will cut northeastward through the
Central Great Lakes Sunday, deepening from 29.6 inches Sunday
morning to 29.4 inches Sunday night over western Quebec.

.TONIGHT...Southeast winds 5 to 10 knots becoming south. Showers
early, then a chance of showers late this evening. Showers likely
after midnight. Waves 1 foot or less.
.WEDNESDAY...South winds around 10 knots becoming southwest and
increasing to 35 knot gales in the afternoon. Showers. Waves
1 foot or less building to 8 to 11 feet. Waves occasionally
around 14 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Southwest gales to 35 knots increasing to
40 knots. Lake effect rain showers likely in the evening, then
rain showers likely overnight. Waves 10 to 14 feet building to
11 to 16 feet. Waves occasionally around 20 feet.
.THURSDAY...West gales to 40 knots. Lake effect rain and snow
showers likely. Waves 13 to 18 feet. Waves occasionally around
