For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.3 inch high will drift off the eastern seaboard
tonight. A compact 29.7 inch low over the Upper Midwest tonight will
slowly fill to 30.0 inches by Thursday night as it tracks just south
of the Lake. This low will then move to near the Delmarva by late
Friday with additional waves of low pressure then tracking northward
along a stalled frontal boundary along or just offshore of the Mid
Atlantic coast Saturday and Sunday. A weak ridge of high pressure
averaging 30.1 inches will build into the lower Great Lakes by late
Sunday.

Waves 2 feet or less.
.THURSDAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
25 knots. Rain in the afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less building to
4 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around 9 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...East winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 10 to
15 knots. Rain. Waves 4 to 7 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet. Waves
occasionally around 9 feet.
.FRIDAY...East winds 15 to 20 knots becoming northeast. A chance
of rain showers. Waves 2 to 3 feet.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots. A chance of rain
showers. Waves 2 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...Northeast winds 5 to 15 knots becoming north. A
chance of rain showers. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
.SUNDAY...North winds 10 knots or less becoming southwest. Waves
1 foot or less.
.MONDAY...South winds 5 to 15 knots becoming southwest 15 to
20 knots. A chance of showers Monday night. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
