For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.3 inch low will track from just north of Lake
Superior this afternoon to the Saint Lawrence Valley by early
Thursday, then a secondary coastal low will deepen to 28.8 inches
over the Canadian Maritimes Thursday night and Friday. A weak
trough averaging 30.1 inches will cross the Saint Lawrence Valley
Saturday. Meanwhile a 30.4 inch high will settle into the
Southeast States Saturday then move off the Carolina coast Sunday.
The next 29.6 inch surface low centered over northern Wisconsin
Monday will gradually fill in to 29.8 inches by Tuesday,
supporting a warm front so slide across the lake.

.REST OF TONIGHT...Southwest winds 15 to 25 knots. Rain showers
and snow late this evening, then rain and snow showers likely
after midnight. Waves 5 to 8 feet subsiding to 4 to 7 feet. Waves
occasionally around 10 feet.
.THURSDAY...West winds to 30 knots becoming northwest and
increasing to 35 knot gales in the afternoon. Snow showers likely
in the morning, then a chance of snow showers in the afternoon.
Waves 5 to 8 feet building to 10 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally
around 18 feet.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Northwest gales to 35 knots diminishing to
30 knots. A chance of snow showers. Waves 10 to 14 feet subsiding
to 6 to 10 feet. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.FRIDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 25 knots becoming west to
30 knots. A chance of snow showers in the morning, then lake
effect snow showers likely in the afternoon. Waves 4 to 7 feet
building to 5 to 8 feet. Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...West winds to 30 knots becoming northwest 15 to
25 knots. Lake effect snow showers likely. Waves 6 to 9 feet
subsiding to 3 to 5 feet. Waves occasionally around 11 feet.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southwest and
increasing to 15 to 25 knots. Snow showers likely during the day,
then a chance of snow showers Saturday night. Waves 2 to 4 feet
