For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.2 inch high over the SOO this morning will drift
JUST to the north of the lake this afternoon. The high will exit
across the Saint Lawrence valley tonight...while a 29.8 inch low
will approach from the Ohio valley. This area of low pressure will
track across New York state on Saturday. A second 29.8 inch low
will move to the northeast across Pennsylvania Saturday night and
Sunday. A 30.1 inch high over the Upper mid west late Sunday will
build across the lake Sunday night. A frontal boundary will cross
the Lower Great Lakes on Monday. High pressure will build over the
entire Great Lakes Monday night and Tuesday.

.TODAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming southwest less
than 10 knots. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TONIGHT...Southeast winds 10 knots or less becoming east and
increasing to 15 to 20 knots after midnight. Widespread rain
late. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...East winds 15 to 25 knots becoming southwest and
diminishing to 10 to 15 knots. Occasional rain. Waves 3 to 5 feet
subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest
15 to 20 knots. Occasional rain in the evening, then showers
likely overnight. Waves 2 to 3 feet.
.SUNDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots. A chance of rain
showers. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.MONDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northwest and
increasing to 15 to 25 knots. A chance of rain and snow showers.
Waves building to 3 to 6 feet.
.TUESDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 25 knots. A chance of snow
showers. Waves 4 to 7 feet. Waves occasionally around 9 feet.
