NORTHEASTERN CUMBERLAND...SOUTH CENTRAL CASEY AND SOUTHERN ADAIR
COUNTIES THROUGH 100 PM EDT/NOON CDT/...

At 1232 PM EDT/1132 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Jamestown to 10
miles northeast of Burkesville. Movement was east at 75 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Jamestown, Russell Springs, Horntown, Desda, Eli, Cundiff, Jericho,
Webbs Cross Roads, Royville, and Karlus.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
