...Climate Data for Frankfort, KY Missing on June 29, 2025...

A rare set of circumstances contributed to the loss of observed
climatological data on June 29, 2025 for the Frankfort, Kentucky
location. The KFFT ASOS suffered an outage, and our backup site at
the Franklin County Mesonet also suffered an outage during this
same time. As a result, the climate data was considered "missing"
for June 29, outside of the low temperature which occurred before
the outage.

There is some hope that observed data may still be able to be
retrieved from the backup site, once it has been restored however
we will continue to carry missing data until this occurs.
Additional data may be missing on June 30th before repairs were
made, however the KFFT station is back online as of this
afternoon.
