Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central Kentucky and Southern Indiana
National Weather Service Louisville KY
308 PM EDT Sun Mar 9 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Unseasonably mild days and low afternoon humidities are expected
through mid-week as high pressure retreats east of the area. Dry
air mixdowns are possible each afternoon, especially Monday, and
could result in humidity levels even lower than forecast. Smoke
dispersion will improve with deeper mixing. The next chance for
rain will be Wednesday night into Thursday, with heavier and more
widespread rain on Saturday.
