.DISCUSSION...Look for a hot, humid, and dry day as high pressure controls
the region. Maximum temperatures look to surge into the low and mid 90s
this afternoon and early evening, along with high humidity values. The
end result will be peak heat indices reaching into the 100 to 105 degree
range. The highest values will be along and west of I-65, with slightly
cooler values farther east. Shower and storm chances return for mid week
ahead of a weak cold front. Cooler temperatures expected for our region by
late this weekend.
