...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Kentucky...

  South Fork Licking River at Cynthiana affecting Harrison County.

  Licking River at Blue Licks Spring affecting Robertson and
  Nicholas Counties.

.Heavy rain from the past few days has caused the river to rise with
additional rainfall expected through the weekend.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

EDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE MONDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...South Fork Licking River at Cynthiana.

* WHEN...Until late Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Several roads are closed outside of city
  limits.
  At 20.0 feet, A large section of city park floods. Water begins to
  back up in some streets in west side of town.
  At 22.0 feet, Intersections of Pearl and Locust, Poplar and Penn,
  and Poplar and Cromwell Alley flood. KY 36 (Pleasant Street)
  between Locust and W. Pike flood. KY 983 before Infirmary Road
  floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 AM EDT Friday the stage was 19.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 19.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this
    morning to 21.6 feet this evening. It will then fall below
    flood stage tomorrow morning to 17.6 feet tomorrow evening.
    It will rise above flood stage again late Sunday morning to
    21.6 feet Sunday evening. It will then fall below flood stage
    again early Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    21.9 feet on 05/04/2010.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Cropland flooding begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 31.7 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 24.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:00 AM EDT Friday was 31.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 39.0 feet early tomorrow
    afternoon. It will then fall early Sunday morning. It will
    rise to 39.0 feet Sunday evening. It will then fall again but
    remain above flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    41.0 feet on 05/05/2010.
