The National Weather Service in Louisville has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern Grayson County in central Kentucky...
  Butler County in south central Kentucky...
  Southwestern Edmonson County in south central Kentucky...
  Northern Logan County in south central Kentucky...
  Northwestern Warren County in south central Kentucky...

* Until 1115 AM CDT.

* At 900 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 6 and 7
  inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2
  inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing
  or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Morgantown, Anderson, Lee, Lewisburg, Rochester, Woodbury, Sugar
  Grove, Dimple, Leetown and Sharer.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
