At 332 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area have diminished. However, excessive runoff from the heavy rain will continue produce high water in spots over the next hour or so. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Lexington, Northland, Thoroughbred Acres, Chevy Chase, U K Arboretum, Highlands, Meadowthorpe, Cadentown, Bryan Station and Cardinal Hill. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
