FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Breezy south to southeast winds will continue into tonight, as
high pressure slides east of the lake, and low pressure around
29.4 inches moves across the central Great Plains into Iowa. A
few gale force gusts are possible during this period. There are
chances for thunderstorms mainly later tonight.

Modest southerly winds on Friday will then shift northwesterly
late Friday afternoon or evening, with the passage of a cold
front. There are chances for thunderstorms later Friday into
Friday night with the cold front, with hail and strong winds
possible over southern portions of the lake.

Modest northwest winds continue behind the cold front Friday
night, followed by lighter north winds Saturday, as high pressure
around 30.4 inches builds into the Great lakes region.

slight chance of thunderstorms this evening, then rain showers
and slight chance of thunderstorms overnight. Waves 6 to 9 ft
occasionally to 12 ft.
.FRIDAY...South winds to 30 kt diminishing to 15 to 25 kt late in
the morning, then becoming southwest early in the afternoon
becoming west 10 to 20 kt late. Chance of rain showers and slight
chance of thunderstorms in the morning, then rain showers likely
with a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Waves 5 to 8 ft
occasionally to 10 ft subsiding to 4 to 6 ft occasionally to
8 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 20 kt becoming northwest. Rain
showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms in the evening,
then chance of rain showers overnight. Waves 3 to 5 ft.
.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 20 kt. Waves 2 to 4 ft
subsiding to 1 to 3 ft.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...North winds 10 to 20 kt becoming northeast
10 to 15 kt. Waves 1 to 3 ft.
.SUNDAY...East winds 10 to 15 kt becoming northeast 10 to 20 kt.
