FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

No major changes to the going forecast this morning as brreezy
north to northeast winds continue today into tonight as 30.4 inch
high pressure builds into the northern Great Plains. The high
will cross Lake Michigan on Wednesday, allowing winds to taper
across the waters. Winds will become southerly on Thursday as 29.5
inch low pressure develops over the northern Great Plains. The
low will deepen to 29.3 inches near Lake Winnipeg Thursday night
through Friday, allowing winds to increase further across Lake
Michigan. Gusts could approach gale force during this time. Winds
will remain breezy as they become southwest on Saturday. Gusty
northwest winds are expected on Sunday behind a cold front, with
gale force gusts possible.
