FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Breezy southerly winds persist as low pressure around 29.5 inches
continues northeastward into WI then central portions of the Lake
by this evening. A cold front will extend southwest from the low
crossing the southern half of lake later this evening. The modest
south winds will veer northwest through this evening (beginning
with the northern lake, then the southern half as the front
passes). There are additional chances for thunderstorms along with
some hail and strong winds across southern half of the Lake later
today into tonight with the cold front.

Modest northwest winds continue behind the cold front overnight
followed by lighter north winds Saturday, as high pressure around
30.4 inches builds into the Great lakes region. This area of high
pressure is expected to cross Superior and Upper Peninsula of
Michigan Saturday night. Winds will be light and variable across
the lake Saturday evening into Sunday morning. East to northeast
winds are expected Sunday.

.SATURDAY...Northwest winds 10 to 20 kt becoming north. Waves
2 to 4 ft.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Northeast winds 10 to 20 kt diminishing to
10 to 15 kt. Waves 1 to 3 ft.
.SUNDAY...East winds 10 to 15 kt becoming northeast 10 to 20 kt.
Waves 1 to 2 ft.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...East winds 10 to 20 kt increasing to 30 kt
overnight. Chance of rain showers in the evening, then rain
showers overnight. Waves 2 to 4 ft building to 4 to 6 ft
occasionally to 8 ft.
.MONDAY...Southeast winds to 30 kt veering to southwest. Rain
showers. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft.
.MONDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 kt. Waves 4 to 7 ft
occasionally to 9 ft subsiding to 3 to 5 ft.
.TUESDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 25 kt becoming southwest 10 to

showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms in the evening,
