FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

Light and variable winds this morning will turn southerly by this
afternoon as high pressure of 30.5 inches moves into the
Northeast. Light west to southwest winds are expected late tonight
and Tuesday as another area of high pressure moves through the
Ohio Valley.

A strong cold front will move across the lake Wednesday and
Wednesday night. Gusty winds are expected, though for now, they
are expected to remain just below gale force. Very cold air with
this system will result in a risk for freezing spray Wednesday and
Thursday.

15 kt. Snow likely in the evening, then chance of snow overnight.
Waves 3 to 5 ft subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.
.TUESDAY...West winds 10 to 15 kt increasing to 10 to 20 kt late
in the morning, then becoming west 10 to 20 kt early in the
afternoon becoming southwest 15 to 25 kt late. Waves 2 to 4 ft.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds to 30 kt increasing to gales to
35 kt. Chance of snow overnight. Waves 4 to 7 ft occasionally to
9 ft building to 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft.
.WEDNESDAY...West winds to 30 kt becoming northwest. Snow in the
morning, then snow likely in the afternoon. Waves 8 to 11 ft
occasionally to 14 ft subsiding to 6 to 9 ft occasionally to
12 ft.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds to 30 kt. Freezing spray.
Chance of snow. Waves 5 to 8 ft occasionally to 10 ft.
.THURSDAY...Northwest winds to 30 kt becoming west 10 to 20 kt.
