...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL ELKO AND NORTH
CENTRAL EUREKA COUNTIES THROUGH 1045 PM PDT...

At 954 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Emigrant Pass to near South Fork to near
Lee to 13 miles east of Jiggs. Movement was northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Elko, Carlin, Lamoille, South Fork, Ruby Valley, Ryndon, Spring
Creek, Adobe Summit, Lamoille Summit, Lamoille Canyon, Secret Pass,
and Halleck.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
