.DISCUSSION...Elevated fire weather conditions continue across
northern Nevada as there will be a low 10% to 20% chance for
isolated dry thunderstorms Monday afternoon. The best possibility
of seeing a storm being along the NV/OR and and NV/ID border
region. The main hazards should storms form will be gusty erratic
outflow winds up to 45+ mph and ground lightning strikes. To go
along with storm chances winds will be breezy during the
afternoon, out of the west to southwest at 10 to 20 mph with gusts
up to 30 mph possible, for the overnights winds will be light and
variable. Storm chances end after Monday evening, however
elevated fire weather conditions look to continue through the
week, due to the combination of breezy afternoon W/SW winds, low
daytime surface humidity levels, along with temperatures in the
90s.
