...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF SOUTHEASTERN
LAFOURCHE PARISH THROUGH 145 PM CDT

At 112 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
capable of producing waterspouts over marine areas near Leeville, or
19 miles southeast of Galliano. This thunderstorm was nearly
stationary.

HAZARD...Waterspouts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
         hazardous waters.

Locations impacted include...
Leeville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
