LAFOURCHE PARISHES THROUGH 100 AM CDT

At 1232 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of
thunderstorms near Galliano, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and heavy rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Chauvin, Larose, Golden Meadow, Lockport, Cut Off, Montegut,
Galliano, Bayou Gauche, and Lafitte.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
